The intrinsically safe EE100Ex is certified according to the European ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and the international IECEx standards for use in gas explosion hazard areas up to Zone 1. The humidity and temperature sensor offers high measuring accuracy and is intended for demanding process control. The sensor enables accurate measurement of relative humidity and temperature in the range 0 to 100 percent RH and -40 to 140°F (-40 to 60°C). The robust sensing head, proprietary sensor coating and encapsulated measurement electronics help ensure measuring performance and long-term stability in harsh and corrosive environments, says the manufacturer.
