The D Series offers nominal throughputs from 600 to 5000 lb/hr (272 to 2268 kg/hr). All models in the company’s large-dryer line are built around desiccant-wheel drying technology, a common touchscreen control, and a set of standard features. The dryers use the DC-C programmable electronic control, software and interface developed specifically for drying applications. Control features include temperature setback; dewpoint monitoring and control; real-time trending; seven-day auto-start/stop; a library of customizable resin-drying recipes; energy-usage metering and audible and visual alarms. An optional package allows users to add a variable-frequency blower drive, drying monitor probe, return-air dewpoint monitor, volatile trap and process filter monitor.
