Compatible with heating flammable liquids and gases, Cast-X High Temp can safely heat solvents, isopropyl alcohol, disinfecting agents, acetone, pentane, ammonia and other low flashpoint liquids to 1110°F (600°C). Process gases such as nitrogen, argon, CO and CO₂ also are suited for these heaters even if they are under high pressure or in a cryogenic state.

The inline heaters are offered in common flow-tube sizes and are compatible with most worldwide voltages. Cast-X HT 500 has power to 1500 W and a 0.25 OD fluid/gas flow-tube. They are offered with a watertight and explosionproof terminal enclosure (for hazardous locations) or without an enclosure (for inert applications). Cast-X HT 2000 accommodates higher flow applications. With power to 6 kW and a 0.5" flow-tube, they are available with an explosionproof or a water-resistant terminal enclosure. Both have a contactless design, where the heated media (liquid or gas) does not contact the heating elements. Instead, the heated media flows through a stainless steel or Inconel flow-tube, cast in the heater body, into which high performance heat elements also are integrated.
