Valin Corp., a privately held, employee-owned San Jose, Calif.-based company, acquired Sun Automation Inc. of Chandler, Ariz.

According to Valin, the acquisition strengthens its automation product portfolio and offers expansion in new territories where it is not currently represented. Sun Automation offers product lines complementary to Valin covering pneumatics, automation, safety, sensors, motion and robotics.

Valin offers order management, on-site field support, training and applied engineering services utilizing process heating, automation, fluid management, and measurement and filtration products.
