Minneapolis-based Despatch Industries has implemented manufacturing processes that have reduced lead times by 50 percent, according to the company. Among the changes implemented, the company restructured its manufacturing facility to allow for in-lining of production equipment and assembly stations, which improved flow and minimized production time.
