Ceco Environmental Corp. has been awarded a large-scale project to provide equipment to help a global semiconductor chip manufacturer meet or exceed safety and environmental requirements by removing harmful gaseous contaminants.
At pulp-and-paper mills, drying the paper products is an integral component in producing the highest quality paper possible. The drying process consumes more than 60 percent of the total energy demands of the papermaking process.
An integrated, pre-engineered package includes a venturi scrubber along with recirculation pump, piping networks, instrumentation and automated controls. The scrubber package is factory assembled and tested.
Series 5000 incorporate the company’s maximum-throughput Hi-Flow random or structured packing. Other features of the counter-current packed tower scrubbers include high efficiency mist-eliminator designs and engineering-matched, clog-resistant liquid distribution systems.
Designed to remove high particulate loadings emitted from molybdenum concentrate and mineral dryers, Series 8500 is supplied with an induced-draft fan, recirculation pumps, piping, full instrumentation, electrical and controls mounted on the company’s ScrubPac skid-mounted platform.
RotaBed fluidized bed scrubber is designed to handle gas capacities from 500 through 250,000 acfm. A swirl-induced Coriolis grid achieves good fluidized-bed stability, resulting in efficient gas mixing and transfer efficiency.
Available in sizes to handle gas volumes from 500 to 150,000 cfm, Series 6000 utilizes a special tray design in single or multiple stages to achieve maximum gas absorption.
The pre-engineered, factory-assembled and -tested package includes the recirculation pump, piping networks, instrumentation and automated controls. Series 7000/8000 integrated scrubbers can help facilities meet PM 10 and PM 2.5 particulate emission standards.
