Line of preengineered, skid-mounted boilers provide the system as prepiped and ready for startup. The company offers boiler skids for its full line of hot water boilers.
Process heating equipment skids include standard unitary steel bases that allow cover-lift hoists, process air ductwork, control panels, monitoring instrumentation and other auxiliary equipment to be attached to the system as a single unit.
Process Heating Co. (PHCo), Seattle, was recently contacted by a power-generating facility that was facing a fuel-heating challenge for its combustion turbine.
Model MOS (oil) heat transfer systems are available in designs up to 500 kW, and Model MWS (water and water/glycol) systems are available in designs up to 600 kW.
Series MWS systems operate to 300°F (150°C) with either water or water/glycol transfer fluids. Series MOS systems can be used with most heat transfer oils and operate to 600°F (315°C) at atmospheric pressure.
