Four electrically heated walk-in ovens will be used by an automotive parts manufacturer to age aluminum parts. The enhanced-duty industrial ovens, manufactured by Wisconsin Oven Corp., East Troy, Wis., have a maximum operating temperature of 500°F (260°C). Guaranteed temperature uniformity of ±10°F at 392°F was documented with a standard nine-point profile test in an empty chamber under static operating conditions, says the oven maker.
A batch oven will be used for aging aluminum exterior components for aircraft engines. Wisconsin Oven, East Troy, Wis., manufactured the indirect gas-fired aluminum aging oven for the automotive and aerospace parts manufacturer.
